Join the PIP Listserv to share your experiences, ideas, and insights regarding the Project Approach with others who use the Project Approach in their classrooms. Members share successes and help each other solve problems. We welcome teachers at all levels of expertise, from first-time implementers to those who have successfully implemented multiple projects.
Addition of the Project Approach to the early childhood curriculum can help prekindergarten teachers motivate, assess, and teach diverse groups of young learners. State-funded workshops and training events related to the Project Approach are offered periodically in Illinois, led by Lilian Katz, Sallee Beneke, and others. Teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals are encouraged to attend as a team. CPDUs may be provided.
